An ECONOMIZER is a device which is used to reduce the energy consumption in the system by utilizing energy from process outputs. Economizer is a type of HEAT EXCHANGER which is used for heat transfer between two fluids. Economizer basically reuses waste heat from hot flue gases from boiler and preheats the feed water going to boiler. Thus energy required for generating steam is reduced due to preheated water. Economizer as a result is a WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT which plays a vital role in improving boiler efficiency. We design and manufacture economizers for both IBR and NON IBR boilers.
